This is another XDguys first and a first in the XD world. This extended slide stop helps to release the slide with much less effort and provides more leverage on all XD and XD(M)™ models, especially on the XD .45ACP
Made for everyone in mind: Guys, gals, righties, lefties, even our friend Rob who lost part of his thumb serving our country.
This extended slide release lever has been crafted with function in mind. The lever sits close to the frame, like the oem model, which reduces the likelihood of snags when drawn from a holster or when concealed. Beware of imitations that can increase the likelihood of snagging on your clothes.
Once again, this fits all XD and XD(M)™ models: sub-compact, service and tactical including the new 2008 XD .45ACP with the thumb safety and the new XD(M)™ series.
This part replaces # 18 in your XD manual.
